HP Color Laserjet CP3525- I've never had a problem like THIS before!

14768911267861719190495.jpgHelp me CopyTechNet, you're my only hope. I'm a relatively new printer tech, and my most recent job has been replacing a fuser drive assembly on a Color Laserjet CP3525DN, after trying everything else I could find to fix a 59.F0 error. My supervisor said that if I could finish this repair and replace this part, I could handle anything- but I had no idea it was going to end up being this much of a fight.

On the plus side, the part is replaced, so that's accomplished... But the printer is most definitely not running correctly.

I opened the case and removed the long list of required parts for getting to the fuser drive assembly, replaced and connected the new one correctly according to my service manual, put it back together to the point that I could test it, and everything actually seemed to hum along just fine, without an error even! Then I tried printing a config page, which proceeded to come out entirely blank. I then ran a demo page, and it printed the very top-right corner of the page, then fades out to blank white. I then ran an engine test, which came our rather wonky. 2/3rds down the page the black lines just fade out, and I only get a quarter of a line of magenta, and two half lines of cyan.

I've taken this printer apart four times trying to see if anything else could possibly be the cause, and verified that the main drive cams are in the correct location according to the manual. I'm out of ideas, and something just isn't right!

Has anyone else run into this sort of problem before, on the CP3525DN or another machine? I'm open to any and all suggestions! I'll also see if I can upload a few images of the engine test page.
Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Try re-seating the formatter this video was for solid yellow prints but I would at least try it.

It looks like the developer alienation could be causing an issue, on this product the dev unit attached to each PCDU is spring loaded, to rack in rack out.
Also I seem to remember a bulletin regarding some plastic catching at the front where the PCU's sit into the machine, a metal leaf spring not contacting correctly?

      Good luck
