Color Laserjet M551 - No transfer belt count.

Today I installed a fuser on an M551, and I noticed there is no life count for the transfer belt. The printer has 160,000 pages on it.
I seriously doubt the transfer belt will last the life of the printer. Does anyone know about how frequently the transfer belt should be replaced on this model? The belts have a gear, so I assume they'll sieze eventually causing the fuser drive gears to be replaced?

I guess when they go bad. I haven't been keeping track. But I know I've replaced the drive gear assembly on one of these BEFORE replacing the transfer belt. Not because of the gears though--the solenoid was sticking.
