Re: hp 3050 powers on and off repeatedly
I would try a formatter first.
I had one of these hit by a storm and not power back on. I replaced every single board in it, and still nothing. I believe one board was knocking out another board, and the only way to fix it was to replace all of them at once, instead of one at a time. I gave up, and told the cust it wasn't worth the effort. I lost money on that one. -

Re: hp 3050 powers on and off repeatedly
it's the logics of the printer.. converts data into print .. the DCC is what take the DC power and sends it to motors / switches / sensors .. LVPS converts AC ---> DC power... HVPS takes the DC and shunts it to the contacts for toner/drum/transfer rollersComment

Re: hp 3050 powers on and off repeatedly
can you print the config page? does it give any errors? if so what?
do they have it plugged straight to the wall? DO NOT plug a laser printer into a battery backup.. it can kill the battery and CAN cause problems like you are seeing.Comment
