The customer said they sent 6 documents but it printed 8.i told them its the printer's printer board or the software installed in the system.am i right?

The operating system of the computer they are printing from is a rather critical bit of information needed to see whether that is the case or not, as well as the program used for printing and the print driver itself.
If I understand what you are saying you could be right, but I have no way of knowing for sure. More input, please.

is this a stand alone printer?
if not could the jobs have come from another user?

Yea its a stand alone printer used by just one user from an hp laptop

delete the USB driver install a NEW driver make sure it is NOT a .wsd extension... DO NOT let the computer pick the driver.. go to manufactures site download the driver for the correct operating system WinXX ( 32 or 64 bit)
