I can't find this code in the svc manual when I called tech support they said it was a formatter fan I pulled the formatter and there is a place for a little fan but it's not there, I can't believe it's gone, I thought the machine was working not long ago. Does anyone know is that code for the formatter fan, and is there a Part# available THANKS

i serviced 4540's and replaced a lot of formatter boards. never saw one with a fan on it

the fan housing is part of the frame that holds the hard drive--- might you know why I'm getting this code--- that's definitely the code and there is no fan in the formatter the fan is 22.00 and I'll put it on and let you know part # 3160-4244
