HP P3005 with 68.2 error

Had HP p3005 printer that booted normally but became unresponsive. replaced with new formatter and transferred DIMM from old formatter. Printer came up with 68.2 error. I did cold reset and NVRAM init still got error. Put back old formatter back in and the 68.2 still remains. The printer did not have this error before. How do I get rid of it?

on one site they suggest doing a firmware upgrade before replacing any parts.

I would try what Phil said, and then replace the DIMM.
