HP 4000MFP locks up on print jobs.

Customer sends a print job and PC shows failed job.
I can ping it and get a response while the job shows fail. (New NIC by the way)
Doubled memory to 256M.
Trouble happens when I send the job Client Server and P2P.
Laptop did same with crossover cable.
Reformatted HDD, replaced Cat5 and switched slots on the switch.
OEM driver with HP discovery.
Have I missed anything?????????????????????????????

You said new nic. If it is a 615, change it to something else, like a 620. I have had HP printers that would wake up one morning and not want to talk to their drivers. They would no longer work with PCL drivers but would work fine with universal drivers. I once had a 4600 that would only work with PS drivers. Good Luck.
