Hello All does anyone have any experience with this device I am having some connection/network share issues that just creeped up after the machine worked for several years. it is in a home network enviroment. windows 7 ultimate machines. eset total security antivirus. user name with password on machine for scanner access. shared forlder with all appropriate permissions and settings at least they were working and havent changed. and am getting "The access verification could not write to folder with the provided credentials."

This isn't a scanner issue it's a Windows security issue. Best is to set scan to folder in public folder on PC or Server, set up as use public credentials and set user as administrator w/ administrator password. Retest and it should say folder access verified -

the blacked out is the ip of the computer. I have public sharing turned on and password protected off.... any thoughts?Comment

You need to set the user scanner as an administrator or just use administrator and the administrator password. Windows must require a password or it will not workComment
