[Misc] hp CM4540 MFP

I tried 2 fusers (new rebuilds) and the printer will not reset I waited beyond 500 pgs with both of them. Sometimes they won't reset for 100pgs or so. This last one went 1000 pgs and still says fuser count very low. any ideas THANKS

One option is replace fusible resistor on the fuser.

Do you mean the fuse in the fusing unit, if you mean replace the fuse----that's not the problem. it blows the fuse but never resets the count for the fuser. if you mean something else in the fuser please explain Thanks

If something is wrong with the resistor, the counter is not reset.
If the resistor is burned and the counter is not reset after 100 prints,I will try with cold reset of the device.
