E7 and E8 series DF skewing

Anybody else getting image skew problems with the single pass DF on the E7 and E8 series?
Getting lots of complains of skewed images in scan mode when its running a lot faster then in copy mode.
Have complained and whinged to HP but they keep fobbing us off and won't recognize that they have a problem.
Would like to know if it is just us or if it is a world wide problem.

    Thanks, Lagonda.

    Bump,
Nobody having a problem with these DF's?
We've screamed so long and so loud about skew problems HP flew an engineer out from Korea to check it out and they skewed for him as well. After lots of trials and measurements he concluded that they had a manufacturing problem and the feed assembly mounting plate was bent.
We are now getting mod kits to replace the suspect parts but they don't seemed to have had much of an effect.

Re: E7 and E8 series DF skewing

Hi Zeldaman, The skewing problem only shows up in scan mode when the DF is running at 100+ pages a minute not when in copy mode at only 60 ppm.

Not impressed with this HP range at all. The Big Boss said that swap to HP was going to be the savior of the company as they would be more reliable and cheaper to service then Ricohs. If that's true why do I have 4 in my workshop at the moment with weird electronic problems?
