HP 9050 49.2109 error

I've got a HP 9050 with a large capacity feed tray and a 3000 sheet finisher, that throws a 49.2109 error. Seems to happen only (as far as I know) on this one large end of month check run. I'm not sure what software they are using for their check printing. I know a 49.xx points to firmware and the latest out there is 2017 date code. Could it be a spooler issue? Not spooling fast enough or spooling to fast or too much at a time? The formatter has been replaced in the last year do to a defect in the board. This didn't start then, it started a two months ago. you can select "print directly to printer" and bypass the spooler system to see if that makes any difference

if no luck replace the driver - remove the device from the system, download the latest driver, manually install the printer using TCP/IP rather than WSD which will cause many problems

NOT all 49.xxx errors are firmware.. a lot could be print jobs...


you never mentioned how much RAM it has and ALL options.

I would clear print Que.

PWR off..
disconnect ALL options
boot
test
PWR off
connect the Enet cbl
pwr on
test

rinse and repeat until you find the option causing the issue, if none.. PUT MORE RAM IN

Thanks, I'll see how they have it set up on the system. Then follow through. I never use WSD drivers. Too many issues with them. Appreciate the quick response

I will check on RAM, I believe it's maxed. I will be sure to check. I Appreciate the quick response. Thank you
