    HP DesignJet 500, replace print cartridge in xx days

    I have a HP designjet 500 plus 42" .Last 2 days I have been getting the message to replace my print cartridge within 2 days . I have updated the firmware to the latest from HP website. Any suggestions

      Replace the printhead it is asking for. It is not a fault, the machine knows how old the heads are. They are not expensive, so if you can , replace them all. After replacing, be sure to run the printhead alingment.
