    hp 2800n lines

    Hi just wondering if anybody has had a problem with black lines on the 2800n printer.The quality is perfect on text or graphs but when printing pictures is has thin black lines running the full width of the page about two inches apart.I have checked and clean the printer but all looks well.The printer is new and has just been set up and installed.Any help would be much appreciated.

      what program are you using to print pictures?
      what are the setting set to?
      Are you copying the pictures and printing them or printing them from software?

      Install new driver
      Install patches, latest version, and updates of software program.
      Check memory - especially if pictures are large
      Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

          Have you tried a new Black toner cartridge?
          Are you printing a full A4 page? do the lines appear in blank or non-image areas?
