    HP 3100 comprehensive error

    Anyone knows what "comprehensive error" means. Customer say's machine won't do anything Thanks

    no such thing. how about "configuration err# (number 1-4)". An error detected in SRAM would cause that. Unplug it, wait 10 seconds, then replug it in. Try a different power source. If it doesnt clear up, may be a bad formatter.

      Thank you. I've never heard of it either. customer tried already your suggestion to no avail.
