I've searched the service manual and what I could find online but haven't really come across what matches this yet. It may not even be worth messing with, so that can be the first thing you can tell me if you think. Had to look at one that occasionally would make a blank stripe about an 1 1/4 inch wide. Do it for usually 3 pages and go back to normal. Sometimes would change positions on the page or be completely blank for a page. It does it at unpredictable intervals. There's no efficient way to take anything apart enough to just to peer inside, but I ruled out a blockage because I would expect it to happen on every single page in the exact same spot. Also I would expect extra smears & jams if there was something in there. It's a cleanly delineated blank stripe when it happens. I ruled out the driver because it happens on copies too. Single and duplex. The HP website wouldn't let me flash the firmware because it was already up to date. Maybe it's the maintenance cartridge, but I can't see any reason why. I reseated the ribbon cables and connections which seemed like it maybe helped, but it came back later at random. I would be interested in your opinions. Past experience tells me it's probably not worth it, but if this sounds familiar & could be solved with an available part that not too invasive, it would be interesting to know. Thank you for your consideration.

Anyway, where do you have your photoshoots? Do you find locations by yourself, or this do the people who want to take photos? I'm struggling right now with this because everyone is tired of the same locations. I've found some film locations but anyway want to know others opinions. If you have some, let me know, please.Comment
