HP 4200 print slow from tray 2

Tray 2 is set to Letter Plain.

Print quality fuser mode is set to Plain Normal.

I run Cold and NVRAM reset.

Still printing slow, it prints from tray 2 the same speed as from tray 1, either from the internal printing or from the computer.

    Any idea? Thanks

I'm not sure about the 4200's cause I skipped selling that model and went straight from the 4000 & 4100's to the 4015's, but I do know on the 4015's there was a "quite" mode that you could select that would slow the printer down. They were a bit noisy and slowing them down fixed it, they seemed to fix that issue on the upgraded version the M601 series. I can't remember exactly where it was, go play in the settings and see if you see a quite mode, if so turn it off.

I think that I figured it out.
It probably something to do with tray 2 paper size switch, it will happen when the blue lever on the tray is turned to the "Custom" position. If the blue lever is on Standard the problem is most likely in the size switch.
