    HP Color LaserJet M454dn

I have this printer that throws a 13.09.14 jam in rear. I have the troubleshooting manual for the M452 (which is the same). This error code isn't in the manual. From what I'm finding by searching it's either a fuser or the ITB. I've already replaced the fuser as I previously tried looking inside the fuser to see if there was any paper stuck inside without removing it. That didn't help.

    What I've done so far:
COMPLETELY inspect for torn or scraps of paper. Nothing found.
Replaced the pickup and feed roller
    Replaced the fuser

I'm trying to not just throw parts at it as the cost of the fuser was insane.

Upon powering on the printer, the power and attention light both flash which I knew wasn't a good thing. None of the motors turn on. The control panel flashes "Initializing", then throws the "Jam in rear...." message and the 13.09.14 code.

I've attached some pictures of the ITB. Not sure if they are helpful, though. 20240827_103452.jpg 20240827_103509.jpg 20240827_103543.jpg

Does ANYone have access to HP WISE to get a CPMD for this model?

I've ordered an ITB. Fingers crossed.

with belt and fuser, you're getting close to cost of device. Are there any other errors in the event log that preceded it? Really though, through cpmd if paper isn't making it to fuser then you'd be looking at replacing ITB and possibly transfer roller. After that it would go to fuser which you've done already. Nothing else parts-wise that I see.

Thank you LowlevelSFP. I agree about the parts. Printer is what, a $700 printer? Fuser was $363 and ITB $315. I started by replacing the rollers, so, they are in there too. It's a contract, so, the customer probably doesn't understand or care about parts cost vs. cost of printer.

For the sake of completeness and to help other people. Replacing the ITB fixed the printer.
