    HP M426 wireless compatability

Anyone know if I can take the little wireless board that plugs into the main board off a FDW version and install it on a FDN model and it accept and work? I have a parts machine and I suppose I could take the entire main board with wireless attachment and swap it over, but it has a lot of copies on it and the one I want wireless is new so I'd like to keep that meter for the customer to know what they're buying. I'm wondering if they are different main boards between the FDN & FDW, or if installing the wireless board will cause the FDN to act like a FDW and boot up the wireless menu on the screen.

HI the part numbers on the boards are the same but you cannot use the wifi card in a fdn - as the main bios flash is programmed to the board to be only fdn. I have attempted to flash the firmware/ as i have the main bios flash for m252 and m277n dw ones. but i'm still working on it but at the moment its not possable.
