LaserJet 5Si Paper Input Unit (PIU)

Greetings this is a long shot I am looking for a exploded parts diagram or a factory assembly diagram or any advise on aligning a Paper Input Unit (PIU) of a LaserJet 5Si ?
I have one that had a broken latch/tab that locks in tray 2, so I removed and carefully opened up the Paper Input Unit (PIU) and epoxied the tab that latches the tray but in the process I noticed there was another broken piece of plastic, a shaft that some of the stops were on. I so I had to remove a couple of gears and springs to epoxy in the broken parts.
I took lots of photos and carefully numbered the gears and springs and used painters tape to keep everything else in place however
When I re-assembled and tested it made a bad grinding sound when it lifted tray 2 and the lifter piece broke so I got some alignment wrong.
I am thinking I can save this thing if I can figure out how to align it, but mechanical gears are not my strong suit.
    Thanks in advance

There may be some outside chance a working assembly is available somewhere online. Since these were sold as an assembly, I don't remember ever seeing an exploded diagram that you could get individual parts ordered. In the past I've observed that epoxy doesn't hold all that well if there's any kind of load or force applied to it. Sorry to bear bad news.

Thanks for the reply, these old laserjets are often worth keeping, I typically junk newer stuff over much less of a problem. I have had success with epoxy over the years when I can also add sheer support like a screw as a dowel. But yeah the unit has those paper lifter arms and I am not sure how the timing / alignment of those gears works or if its even necessary. I'll look for another unit.
