HP laser jet Enterprise M830 MFP jam error code 13.64.A1 finisher exit sensor.

Hello guys, i hope your doing good.
jams either constantly, then works after i poke around or for a few days.

this was jamming all the time, until i removed the fuser. it had some wrinkling on the film, so i replaced with a reman. worked a few days, and back to square one.
i isolated the paper drawers, and that only helped for a short time. sometimes when it jams and stops, there's a paper trying to get out the exit roller and kind of wrapped around in there.

i cleaned all the finisher rollers i could get to, blew out all the sensors i could see, and it worked fine for a few days.
the machine has 2.3 million on it.
does it sound like the finisher exit mod, i forget what its called, the jogger stacker?
the parts book on this one calls it a swing guide assembly, or a operation tray assembly, or a return roller assembly.
there's also a stack delivery roller drive clutch.

the predecessor finisher on the HP 9050 MFP had about 3 replaceable modules for it, that was easy to fix issues.

if the finisher is anything like the ADF, it's just easier to replace the assembly. if one is still available?

any help, or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    thank you, Jim

    Hello, Happy Friday.
ok, i have had the customer run it for a few days with the finisher separated, and no jamming.
does anyone know if its worthwhile to replace a few things or the swing guide assembly on this, or try to find a finisher?

    thank you very much.

    Happy Super Bowl Weekend!!!

Probably be easier to replace the finisher if you don't know exactly what's causing the problem. According the the TS manual after running diagnostics they say to replace the PCA, if none of the steps fix it.

Ok, i see that they are available used, and not cheap. i am looking to see what it would cost for the exit mod and drive clutch. then what the customer wants to do.
        I will keep you posted.
        thank you very much.
