Ready state with no ethernet cable plugged in? Sounds like a bad print job.

        Error 81.09.00

Root Cause: Internal Jetdirect Inside Networking event.

        Recommended Action:

        1. The technician will need to re-establish the trusted platform module state in the printer.

        2. Confirm the error still boots to the same 81.09.00 error.

        3. Turn the printer off.

        4. While turning the printer on, go into the preboot menu.

        5. Select admin > Scroll to TPM > get status> enabled.

        6. Select Disable TPM > confirm > Device reboots.

        7. Once the unit is booted to ready, print the configuration page to validate the TPM is disabled.

        8. Turn the printer off.

        9. While turning the printer on, go into the preboot menu.

        10. Select admin > Scroll to TPM > get status> Disabled.

        11. Select Enable TPM > confirm > Device reboots.

        12. After the printer boots up to the ready status, print the configuration page to validate the TPM is enabled, and verify the error is resolved. Never replace the TPM on a unit that shipped with one. The TPM that can be ordered is only available for adding a level of security on the device never had a TPM paired from the factory, a new one cannot be installed for security reasons.

No problem, I'd replace the formatter.

ZoZo, we only have one of these in the field and mostly service Ricoh and Konica Minolta so im not familiar at all on them..............IS the formatter board the same as the main board? I ordered the main board a few days ago. Thanks

I've never heard them referred to as the main board, in all documentation it's always the formatter pca. Semantics aside, as long as you ordered the board with the ethernet port you should be good.
