    HP M577 49.38.07 ERROR

i UNDERSTAND THIS TO BE CAUSED BY A PRINT JOB THE PRINTER CANNOT INTERPRET. I'VE PUSHED THE FIRMWARE BY THUMB DRIVE AND REBOOTED THE MACHINE. THE ERROR CAME BACK. I HAD ALL USERS DELETE ANY PRINT JOBS FROM THEIR PRINT QUEUE, AND STILL THE ERROR RETURNS. COULD THIS BE A BAD FORMATTER? SUGGESTIONS?

disconnect the machine from the ethernet and wifi, reboot, print internal reports - if this all works it is not the machine

edit: i've seen IP conflicts cause this! remove the machine from the network, ping an 'empty' IP addy (192.168.0.201 or similar) that is find an IP address that is not used by the network - then add the machine using that IP address
