HP Photosmart C6280 Machine Turns on But Display is Off

Hello guys,
I needed to work on an HP Photosmart C6280 after a lot of ink spilled into the inner part. I had to even remove the print head and clean because of the nature of the spill.
However after assembling, the machine runs alright, but the screen is black. I've reset several times but I don't get a better result.
Honestly, I'm not familiar with the error and I'm short of ideas.
Could anyone make a kind suggestion as to what the cause may be?

Check cable between display and board. Display is totally black, no power?

Thank you for the response Bro.
The power button works. But most of the time, it comes when the main switch from the wall is turned on. At that point, you will only see the blinking ink system failure indicator and the power LED on. But the screen itself does not turn on.
I did swap one scanner to see the result. Just that, that too I may be wrong in thinking it is functional. I will keep checking as you suggested.
