One or both of the clutches in the registration ass'y of my 9050dn is not activating when a print job is started. They work when the machine is warming up and when clearing the paper path after a jam. I've removed the clutches, cleaned them, and tested with 24VDC. They work fine. I've also done a cold reset and reinitialized the NVRAM, with no effect. Any suggestions on where to go next are greatly appreciated.

Re: 9050dn Registration Assembly Clutches not Activating
Thanks, but I don't believe it's a problem with the registration assembly itself. The registration assembly seems to work just fine at power-up and when clearing a jam, but the clutches don't engage when running a print job, causing the paper to accordion at the first roll in the reg assembly. My working theory at this point is it's either a sensor or other input to the DC controller inhibiting the logic that activates the clutches, or a problem with the controller itself.Comment
