HP CP4525 occasionally prints a page that reads "GE issued Warning 76". The rest of the page is blank. I was using the USB port when this happened. I have not been able to replicate the problem using network port. Any ideas? Bad formatter board? Thanks.

Re: HP CP4525 giving "GE Issued Warning 76" error
I did a quick google search and here's what I found
HP LaserJet P3015 - My Solution to GE Issued Warning: 76 was to configure the Port Settings to LPR.
- Click the Ports tab on the Printer's Properties.
- Click the desired port you plan to use.
- Click Configure Port...
- Select the LPR radio button.
- Set Queue Name to any name you want.
This also has solved an issue with an HP printer spewing copies of a one page print job.
Thankfully, I found a solution to this problem, it eventually lead to re-adding the printer on to the users PC, but also installing the PCL 5 driver instead of PCL 6. This worked like a charm.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment
