Anyone savvy with HP SDS?

Everytime i replace a HDD in a HP it drops off SDS

No matter how many times I try and on multiple customers I can never re establish comms

Even del it from SDS and re do the onboarding process using the program that generates that CSV file.

Its getting frustrating as HDD failures are common so lost connections are really starting to add up

do you do the erase/unlock first then format and upload firmware?
i dont onboard the printer we ring our helpdesk and they do it remotely. to be honest we stopped using SDS and now use MPS.
