I sent you firmware files in exchange for HPM479 firmware that did what you claim, It didn't, the machine rejected a compatible that previously worked, I tried a few others and ended up having to use a genuine. The firmware datacode in service mode changed, so the update did something, but the machines' performance deteriorated.

You are in violation of General Rule 5. " Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed." Firmware is the intellectual property of the manufacturer.

It was all done via pm a few weeks ago which is usually how this sort of thing is done, I am surprised how the op, a few weeks later, would make a site with potential files publicly available.

There is no need to go to that extreme. Just as you started out with Skynet, do it via PM.

People that have firmware/drivers are a big help to users here.

Good luck with that. He is only here anywhere from once a month to every 3 to 6 months. It has been 2 weeks since he was last here so by now his inbox is full from all the spam complaints that have been submitted.

Slightly but they still need a way to make their presence known. A better solution is to become an advertiser, but that still is dependent on Aneurysm responding to the request to become n advertiser. That is what Just Manuals did until it owner, Paul Gelsman, passed away in the summer of 2014. Top banner ads and side bar ads. He would greet all Newbys and when someone posted a request for manuals or firmware he would post a reply of we have that.
