    HP M604 99.05.56

I have three different printers randomly shutting down with a 99.05.56

    printer #1 2309088_001465
    Printer #2 2309059_000616
    Printer #3 2309059_000616

Newest firmware from HP: 2309088_001465 Printer #1 was having the same issue and the update did not fix it so I doubt it will fix the others (but I will try tonight as these printers are active right now). All three of these have randomly started within the last month.

I've found the error code in other manuals but each one recommends something different, has anyone else ran into this?

Format the eMMC & reload the FW, if that doesn't work replace the eMMC.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot when I'm onsite today to two of them (one of them is a two hour drive away)

Looks like that did it! Thank you.

Any reason why it would happen? Seems off that the flash memory would corrupt itself.

I've no idea why it would happen, my initial thought was a job was sent that the machine couldn't comprehend but that seems unlikely since formatting or replacing the eMMc has fixed it for me in the past. So I really don't know but I'm glad I could help you fix it!
