HP E87640 Color Laser jet Error code 63.00.2a

I just got a call for army corp of engineers to resolve error code 63.00.2a. The service manual is vague with this code. Just says printer
engine connector problem. I feel that it is a yellow image unit corona shorting out. Can anyone give me some support I ran out of time today
and I'm returning tomorrow. I thought at first fuser but everything looks fine and I can feel a little heat on the rollers when it codes out so I feel it's not that. Thank you in advance

63.00.2A: The magenta H Sync signal of the laser/scanner is abnormal



Turn the printer off, and then on. Check for the laser/scanner unit motor operation sound during warm-up.
If the laser/scanner unit motor does not make a sound, skip to the next step.


If the laser/scanner unit motor makes a sound, complete these troubleshooting steps: (if no sound, skip to next bolded step)If the laser/scanner unit motor does not make a sound during warm-up, complete these troubleshooting steps:


Turn the printer off, and remove the power cord.


Remove the back and the left side covers.


Disconnect and reconnect the laser/scanner FFC on the laser/scanner and the connector 23 on the main board PCA.

If the laser/scanner unit flat cable is defective, replace the FFC.

If the error persists after replacing LSU and FFC, replace the main board PCA.
