Hi, I have this problem on HP3390. I checked sensor - it's OK, tried to start mashine without feeder - same message. Any idea?

HP3390 "ADF door is open"
HP has problems with their ADF units & you cant take them apart to fix them. The SM says to do the following:
make sure lid is closed. make sure ADF is seated properly. turn off power for 30 seconds power up wait for it to initialize. try a different power source. replace the ADF.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!". -

I agree replacing the ADF is not...um..."interesting",
but if it fixes the problem, why not?

OK, but I don't have other ADF
, I work in warehouse ana we don't have any other 3390! I will wait until we receive some other 3390 to try with other ADF!
