    HP Business Inkjet 2300

a client of ours has got a HP Business Inkjet 2300 installed over the network, and it seems to be printing slow over network, but the main problem they have is, everytime they print, they have to walk over to the machine and press the resume/go button. i checked the settings and they seemed correct. Is there something im missing?
    Thanks in advance

You might have an issue with a print head or, possibly a maintenance counter needs cleared. I am not sure if there is a manual available for this machine.

There is a possibility that it is a media issue? I am going out on a limb though. Have you seen what it does when this happens? Hp is pretty good about providing some sort of warning, even if it is a series of flashing lights. (How Primitive!)

Just a update for you, there were 6 machines in the office, and i changed the settings in word for that specific printer to choose tray 2, and 4 of the machines are now printing fine with out having to walk to printer and press resume, but 2 of the computers still have the same problem, its saying load paper in tray 1 and press resume, even though u changed the settings to print from tray 2. I will go back today and try again, its strange, and it has the same settings as the other 4 ive sorted out

not sure about the resume button issue, but for the printing slow issue, check what dpi each of the printers are set to. The lower the dpi the faster the printer will print. (No matter what the control panel of the printer says, the driver in the PC will control the dpi and overrides it). Make sure all of the computers have the updated driver installed.
