    HP Color Laserjet CP3505 memory

Hello everyone. I have a customer with this color printer and they print very detailed photos full 8 1/2 x 11 size and they cannot print to this machine because it says not enough memory. Now is it just a matter off selling them a 128 MB and popping it right in the slot on the formatter? Any help would be appreciated because they want the maximum memory this machine can have.

    Thanks,

    J.

P.S. I looked in the service manual and it doesn't tell you max memory and also how to enable memory from MAC systems that this particular customer uses. Thank you

      Hey j_lee,

Are they sending there jobs through a USB connection? Make sure jobs are being sent through the HP Jetdirect Fast Ethernet embedded print server

Max memory that can be added to this machine is 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM DIMM (HP PN: CC412A)

Thanks for replying Brandon. They are sending through a regular network cable. They definitely need more memory I just wasn't sure what the max was and how to enable the memory from a MAC! Can you help me out there Im def. not a macintosh person...

You shouldn't need to do anything to enable the memory. Just Make sure they are sending from a postscript/Mac driver. Just install the memory and go
