HP officejet Pro 8000, says it is out of ink, with full cartridges.

I sold a man 3 of these and this one came up saying to change the cartridges, and when he did, the message did not go away. Any ideas?

The inks were new, I called HP and they are replacing the printer, it was only 4 months old.

I'm having the same issue with my machine (had it for maybe two years) but the cartridges are new and the waste chamber looks full as well. any thoughts on how to reset the waste tank? shoot me a message.

Buy a new printer. My advice to users for their home is to find a cheap machine on sale and buy 2. When the first one breaks , throw it away and put your new inks in the second one.
