HP Laserjet 4700 Colour registration issues!

Has anybody encountered colour registration issues on a HP LJ4700?

    What has been done:

    Scanner windows and mirrors cleaned
    Fuser replaced
    Genuine HP toner used
    New transfer belt
    New registration unit

Only thing I can think of now is NVRAM initialisation if there is one on this model before a replacement formatter. . ?

    Many thanks

I know this is going to sound stupid, but did you perform 3 full calibrations after you replaced the transfer belt? The color registration sensor is on the top of the transfer belt. If you replaced that it should be fixed, but you have to calibrate after you replace it. If you do an NVRAM init, make sure you print the configuration page first. You can also isolate the colors from the diagnostics menu print PQ troubleshooting pages.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

the laser could be missaligned so much so it cant compensate with a calibration, if you print a config page and check the corners is it a specific color thats off ?
