Machine toggles between Ready and Processing job, Data light flashing, nothing printing. Replaced jet direct card. Hit stop to cancel job and a bunch of pages with 1 or 2 lines of garbled print came out. Only 1 work station in room, was able to print 1 document then back to the toggleing ready and processing job msg. Got network administrator to send test print came out OK. They pushed driver to workstation (Universal PCL6) Customer says waits 15 min for print job. Tried to reinstall firmware but could not (unexplained error?)

In cases like this, I always connect my laptop with a crossover cable & test network connectivity & printing that way.... off the clients network. This should be the first step, as it will rule out the machine or the network causing the issue.
I've had cases of the client demanding the machine be fixed, only to have me prove that the machine prints perfectly fine from my laptop & cable. -
I would also have them print from differant applications. If a document from a different app prints fine but the other ap takes a long time to print, it could be in the program and you could also try expanding the memory.IzzyComment
