Hi, has anyone experienced problem with the hp cm6040 not accepting/registering new toner cartridges.

Hi,
I'm working on a CM6030 at a dealer in Hampshire.
We are having a problem with one machine, it keeps asking to remove black toner, shake it and refit it.
We've tried new toners and drum units, replaced sensor pcb, drive pcb, dc controller and formatter.
New firmware, cold reset and nvram.
Still no joy.
Did you resolve your fault? -

Hi there, i faced the same problem like yours before but i manage to solve it as below steps:- replace another toners with 90% from other CM6040.
- Off/On the machine
- clear all the papers in the machines.
it works after that.Comment

Most probably you are using a generic toner. Replace it with oem toner.Comment

chances are you might not be using original toners...try original toners and see
