    [Jamming] HP 4600N Paper Jam

I have been given a HP 4600N as the owner didnt know how to fix the paper jamming in paper try 1+2.

I have checked the paper size and the paper trys to feed from try two but doesnt enter the unit.

When trying to print from tray one the paper enters the printer but stops about an inch from the end of the paper and paper jam pops up on the screen.

Is there a part broken? that feeds the paper?

out of 20 peices of paper one peice fed through with red lines on it....

    Any advice would he helpfull.

paper pick-up asm pulls paper from tray 2 and tray 1. Usually the paper turn guide gets broken or the pick up rollers are bad. If you are not a tech I recommend getting a tech to do it. RG5-6468 for the entire asm. I have a kit that fixes all the main parts that break, but I would consider that an advanced repair and would not recommend it to an end user
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

She tells you the truth. If you are a tech, the hardest part is taking the covers off. If you are a user, and it was given to you, and you can turn a screwdriver, you could probably do it with a manual.
