our HP8550 displays a message regarding the DRUM COUNT LOW...we ordered for a new drum assembly...my question is "if we put the new drum assembly will the message automaticaly disappear? thanks!!

Wait till it says "please replace drum". The n when you close the door after replacing the drum, It should ask you"new Drum?" Then select yes. If I remember this model correctly. Been awhile.
