    Wide format copier source wanted

have a customer that wants to purchase a 24" wide format copier, black & white. We've serviced HP wide formats for years, but never sold one. Any suggestions for a REPUTABLE source for these? Preferably HP designjets, but open to suggestions. Thanks.... Jeff M.

Ricoh makes one that scans and copies. 36 inch I believe.

Did you want a wide format copier or plotter? If you need a wf copier you should pick up a Xerox 2515 or 3001 if you want a plotter go with a HP Designjet. I can get you both.

oce is the market leaders in wide format , then there is KIP , Xerox, Ricoh etc . We use HP only if we need colour plots . HP is inkjet and slow compared to the laser printers which can start at 2 A0's per min to 16 and all are 36 inch wide , any length models

Oce is expensive and takes up to much space. KIP is the best wide format out there hands down.
A lot of techs would disagree because they don't know how to service them. Kip school sucks, but if you understand that a copier is a copier then its cake.

Thanks for your replies. Found a source in CT, quoted on an HP and haven't heard from them since. Agree inkjet in slow, have serviced a Ricoh in the past, not too bad just different. Have a good friend who sold a KIP, nice machine but a nightmare to get support for. Again, thanks.... Jeff M.
