    HP DesignJet 500 Plus

    Hi

I have this one in service. It had error 22:10 ISS error, but I'm quite sure that it's working. After resetting EEROM, device is asking to remove normal printheads and insert setup printheads. I don't have it, so is there a way to cheat machine and continue with initializing? And what about error 22:10? Could it be harness or bad cartridges or print heads?

    Thanks in advance

The EEROM could have caused this code. It could be a failure of it reading, writing or initializing. If you had not messed with the EEROM, I would say replace the ink supply station. The code is part of the ink system is not talking with the motherboard. It may think you have air in the lines, and wants you to bleed them with the set up heads, which are cheap.

There is no way around this, some how you started the purge of the tubes and when it is started you have to do it. Set up printheads are fairly cheap.
