I followed the advice as listed here, to mixed results:
1. Is there a way to get the SNP to appear short of printing via the/a printer?
2. Once the setting is made, is it only effective for clients that add a printer *after* the tweak?
Of a slightly different subject, how is the information conveyed between printer and server - SNMP? Would disabling SNMP on the printer help to stop the messages?
