4730/Q7517A - how does one upgrade the *MFP* firmware?

I followed some advice to one of my earlier posts, to no avail.

I've also performed a "factory defaults" reset from the front panel, again, to no avail.

Basically, I would like to be able to edit the Fax address book via keyboard/browser, instead of standing over the MFP.
