HP 4345 mfp Error executing Digital Send job. Job failed

After email-server has been update now we cannot send email we got a message " Error executing Digital Send job. Job failed"

SMTP has been verified ok

Any idea?

Are these internal to the server, going from acde@123.com to fghi@123.com, or are they trying to go outside the server, abcde@123.com to wxyz@789.com? I had a customer with a couple of 4345 that when they changed their email server it no longer allowed them to go outside the server. Never did find a fix for it though.

Can they still send in house emails? I had a customer with a couple of these, that when they updated their email server it no longer allowed them to send emails outside of the server. They could still send email in house though. I was never able to find a fix as the email server was 200 miles away from me and they didn't seem all that excited about paying me to go look at it.

We cannot send inhouse neither outside.

In the setup area where you configure the SMTP gateway(s), there should be an option to test the gateways. Do those tests come back as successful? Do you know if the configured gateway is an Exchange server?
