Why can't I have normal problems. I have one 6040 that seems to be having a problem with the 3 tray sorter/stacker. I have it set like all of them to discharge copies into tray 1, top tray, which it does endlessly well until you push that staple button. The first set will discharge stapled into the first tray, then when prepping the second set, for some reason it goes up to discharge the next set into the second tray. After that set, it then lowers back to the top tray and puts the rest of the sets in the top tray. It's just the second set that it for some reason wants to put it in the middle tray. The other 6040's I have I tested them and they all work like they should. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
