    hp lj paper tray locks

i have a large number of printers in a open environment. having an issue with people constantly changing paper type and size, which of course leads to issues for the next user. is there a way to lock the control panel settings with out impeeding the printing capabilities? has any one had any experience with putting physical locks on the paper trays? thanx

I use clear packing tape. Not only does it prevent End Users from changing size but keeps them from breaking. Works great for me!

i dont think so, we have come upon machines that have been set that way and still had issues. what would be ideal is if i could just lock the control panel settings. is this possible on the lj 9050? thanx

The only way I know to lock the menus is via the method in this link:
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
