Getting 41.5 errors on this machine. Have not worked on this machine before. Paper trays are set correctly(bypass and tray 2 on this machine). Manual points toward media sensor(ps5) first. Just wondering if anyone has seen this issue before on this machine. Thanks for reading!

Re: LJ 3550 COLOR
Can you print a config page at all? Does it happen from both trays? If the config page prints, what does it say for tray paper size? If it happens from both trays and you can't get it to print, follow the steps in the manual. Make sure the paper size matches what's in the tray, if it's happening with only one tray. (cold reset may help with this.)Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!". -

What size paper does the configuration page say is installed in tray 2?Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".Comment

Re: LJ 3550 COLOR
I'm more apt to agree with them. P/u asm can cause this problem and it is something more frequently ordered. If the pick up asm doesn't get the paper to the next sensor in the appropriate time or if it moves too slow, the printer may give a paper size error. What is the part number of the sensor you wanted to try? I see if we have it.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".Comment
