Help with HP Designjet 5500 Streaking Problem

    Hi,

I am using an HP Designjet 5500 at work and on some of my prints I am seeing a series of vertical streaks that generally begin towards the end of the print, towards the end of printing.

It was calibrated a day ago, everything seems to be in good working condition, does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be the issue and how to go about solving the problem?

Thanks for the consideration and any help.

The streaking can be from a bad printhead. Visually check for air in the tubes. If you see air, it needs to be bled out. Then you must narrow it down as to which head needs to be changed.

Bad printhead. Replace your printhead with oem.

That SAME answer was given last year.
