Cycle power and try to send it via USB. I believe this model has the EZ type you can do from windows. Make sure there are no power interruptions or USB cable disconnects during transfer of data from PC via USB. Other than that, you're looking at a possible formatter replacement as your only choice so, you would be better off trying this suggestion.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".Comment

If you are using win 7 to do firmware via FTP it times out giving an error. I use easy firmware update tool. Just thought I would throw that out there. Don't know if that helps. Good luck.Comment
