HP 3300 modem

The P/N (I think) for the modem is:

C7052-60004 Line interface unit (LIU)

The Service Manual doesn\'t really even talk about this thing, It never even calls it a modem????? I looked it up at my usual hp parts supplier and they don\'t have it available as a part????? They don\'t even have it listen in their on-line parts guide.

I don\'t do much with HP faxes, but you might try to reset, you might get lucky. Press * and menu while turning on.

have a 3200 that won\\\'t send or recieve. Since I\\\'m a copier guy can someone tell me if it\\\'s worth fixing and where to get a modem.

The HP 3300 is a print/scan only machine. The HP 3330 has fax capabilities on it.

before you replace any parts... reset machine. first in fax functions reset fax memory to clear buffer. Power on while holding stop and menu button to reset
