    HP 1320n no power on

    Hi all,
    my HP 1320 has died.
I was using it for testing a remanufactured cartridge, power went off and the printer no more power on itself.
I looked at ECU but no evidence of breaking and the fuse is still good.
    Anyone has experied same issue?

Short in cartridge blew ECU board? If so that would explain fuse not being blown. Fuser is only for large voltages not low ones to the cartridge. I wouldn't put that cartridge in any other printer, if I were you.

That cartridge works perfectly in another printer.

Then the ECU probably just got blown. Stuff happens. To you test toners a lot on the machine or was this just one time? If so that is not normal usage. I know because I rebuild a lot of parts and test machines have a lot less life that machines under normal usage. The contacts may have gotten misshapen and touched something they should not have. There could have been a surge on the line or the board could have been faulty and just chose this time to quit.
